Help Wanted: Landscape Maintenance Technician & Greenhouse Assistant

• Working on customer’s existing landscaped areas (and sometimes creating new areas) including weed control measures, annual, perennial, and shrub care, small tree pruning, rock and mulch installs and replacements, and any other measures needed to complete the job.
• Working at a fast pace and maximizing efficiency.  
• Assisting with spring transplant & retail season in any area as needed.  This will require gaining knowledge of Annuals, Vegetables, Perennials, Shrubs, and Trees.  Duties may include but are not limited to plant care and watering, seeding, transplant line work, plant maintenance, inventory receiving and storing, IPM applications, retail sales assistance, and customer class assistance.
• Assisting with facility maintenance and repairs to keep facility clean, in good repair, and hazard free. 
• Be intuitive.  Be inventive.  Seek ways we can become more efficient.  
• Problem solving.  Good employees identify problems and communicate them to others.  GREAT employees identify problems and determine possible solutions and see them through to completion.  
• Hard work ethic required.  We work through sun, rain, snow, and whatever else Mother Nature throws at us.  We work long days during our spring production and retail season.
