Wanted: Horticultural MASTER Grower

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 70+ lbs.
  • Must be able to climb onto greenhouse roofs/gutters for maintenance and repairs
  • Obtain & maintain a valid Wisconsin Applicators License
  • Possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
  • Ability to safely operate a skid steer or other equipment
  • Ability to safely operate a snowplow or other snow-related equipment
  • Now The MASTER Stuff:

  • Push CVG beyond today’s limits. Heck, push WAAAAYYYYYY beyond those limits!
  • Generate ideas for profitable growth within current and new revenue streams to better utilize our facilities and labor force year-round.
  • Go-Getter. Can’t settle for good enough. Grit is a must.
  • General construction and/or fabrication skills and understanding.
  • Respect for your colleagues. We have a GREAT team. Don’t take advantage of their kindness; instead, go out of your way to make your co-workers’ jobs more manageable, and they’ll do the same for you.
