Blackthorne provides everything you could want in a daylily. This hemerocallis features stunning dark-and-light contrast, large 5½-6 inch blooms, and reliable reblooming. Each flower shows off an aubergine purple eye, pretty picotee edge, and prominent, painterly hues of cream and purple. This one deserves a prized spot in the garden.
