The 4“, fragrant, canary yellow flowers have recurved, overlapping petals and slightly ruffled margins.  They open fully and symmetrically just above the semi-evergreen foliage.  The plants display excellent 3-way branching, producing 10-15 well-spaced flowers per scape. Diploid.

Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
