Prairie Fire Dogwood #3

Prairie Fire Dogwood is an orange-red twigged dogwood with incredible yellow foliage during the growing season. This dogwood is very tolerant of urban conditions and drought-resistant. The pointed yellow foliage is retained in the sun but becomes more chartreuse in the shade. The yellow foliage combined with the traditional red stems in the winter, this beauty is colorful in the yard any time of the year. Small creamy-white flowers arrive in May are preceded by white berries in the summer. This dogwood works well with the darker greens and the textures of evergreens.
