Yucca Adam’s Needle #3

The Adam’s Needle Yucca will stand out in your landscape. A deciduous, cactus-looking, shrub that provides unique grayish green foliage throughout the year. This low-maintenance selection explodes with creamy-white bell-shaped flowers atop three to five foot tall spikes. Where the flower emerges, that part of the plant will die out after the bloom, small plants around the main plant will take over. The Adam’s Needle Yucca is an excellent plant for a rock garden or foundation planting. A dry, sunny location is needed to thrive making it an ideal plant for a water conscious Xeriscape landscape. Remove old leaves or winter burned leaves in early spring and allow new leaves to develop from the center of the plant.
