Some people finished their holiday shopping in August. And some people haven’t even started yet. For the rest of us, we may still be searching for that perfect last-minute gift for the gardeners in our lives. Need some inspiration? Here are a few ideas.

  1. TOOLS: Whether you’re shopping for a veteran grower or a newbie, gardening tools are always appreciated. Sure, there’s nothing wrong with the standard shovel and rake, but if you want something more than the typical off-the-shelf selection, explore a local shop that offers hand-made pieces like these unique hand-forged garden tools.
  2. GAMES: Gardeners love plant inspired items. Keep an eye out for gifts like puzzles featuring a variety of plants or a botanical spin on Bingo.
  3. SEEDS: Next year’s growing season is right around the corner… and you’d better believe your grower is already thinking about seeds. Give them a jump start with wonderful seed gift sets that can often be curated around a theme or recipe, such as salsa.
  4. GARDENING BOOKS: When cooler temperatures are upon us, reading moves up on the priority list. Whether the gardener on your list has a love of herbs or is a child showing interest in gardening, books are always a great option.
  5. STATIONARY: This past year has seen an uptick in old-fashion letter writing. Encouraging notes on stunning, garden-themed stationary can be a thoughtful addition to writer’s tool kit. While you are at it, don’t forget the stamps featuring harvest crops.

And if all else fails, don’t hesitate to present a gift card to your local greenhouse. We happen to know a place 😉
